Progress of imaging diagnosis in upper urinary tract obstruction
Recent studies suggest a high incidence of upper urinary tract obstruction caused by calculus and tumors. Upper urinary tract obstruction leads to hydronephrosis and renal damage, severe cases can suffer from renal dysfunction, renal failure and death. Early imaging examination can help qualitative diagnosis of upper urinary tract calculus and tumor obstructive disease. This review involved ultrasound, radiorenogram, CT and magnetic resonance urography for imaging diagnosis of upper urinary tract obstruction.
